In Spring, Ooshima seems to be engulfed in the magnificence of cherry trees in full bloom and the surrounding haze.

In Summer, the emerald sea reflects thousands of lights from skies untouched by pollution, where at night millions of stars are visible.

In Fall, the season of the plenty, autumn leaves put on their best colors.

In Winter, when the wells of the local natural onsens let plumes of water vapor rise towards blue skies.

Blessed by Nature, the Izu peninsula offers different charms in each of its four seasons. 

Situated inside a restored villa dating from the early Showa era, our restaurant and his chef will delight you with a cuisine abundant with local food, delicately prepared in the traditional Japanese way, and served with a great attention to detail. Marvel at the freshness of the fish, handpicked by the chef himself every morning as the fishermen bring their boat into port, and enjoy the local fruits and vegetables, grown by farmers of the region. 

Take a glimpse at the natural geyser of Mine, and watch how columns of water rise high into the air. Enjoy exchanging conversation with the chef while eating at the counter. Contemplate, through the restaurant window, our traditional Japanese garden with its pond and well tended lawn.
